Founder, Manager/Team Coach & Trainer

Banu started her human resources career at the Ottoman Bank in 1997. She was a specialist and manager for recruitment and career consultancy.

She transferred to Garanti Bank in 2001. As Career Planning Manager, she took an active role in realizing numerous applications and projects in the field of human resources.

The seeds of her work as Professional Coach date back to 2009, when she completed Adler International Learning Turkey trainings accredited by the International Couching Federation (ICF), followed by advanced individual coaching trainings developed by Adler International Training (headquartered in Canada) in cooperation with the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, and was certified as Adler Certified Professional Coach (ACPC) in 2011.

After obtaining the ICF-accredited coaching certificate (Associated Certified Coach) Banu participated in team and group coaching trainings and certification studies with Team Coaching International-UK in 2012 and completed Gestalt, Basic Concepts and Methodology (2013-2015) and Gestalt Practicum in 2016. Banu was a volunteering coach during the time she worked as a Human Resources Manager, and continued as a Professional Certified Coach as from 2013.

Thanks to her knowledge, experience and managerial experience in Human Resources, combined with the expertise and accumulation she gained in Turkey and abroad, Banu has taken part in numerous studies on in-house coaching design and configuration of coaching for executives applications.

Banu earned her BA from the Middle East Technical University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration. She was an in-house Professional Coach with Garanti Bank until 2012. Until July 2016, in addition to offering professional coaching services, she designed development programs aimed at fostering new in-house coaches and helping executives to develop coaching skills, as well as various leadership programs for executives to develop their leading abilities, and she also offered trainings .

She has been active in coaching, leadership and management skills as part of Terra Consulting since August 2016.

Banu became a Board member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council in March 2018. She has been a member of the Executive Committee of Adım Adım, a run-for-charity organization, since May 2015.

Banu is married with two children.

She believes that the balance and completeness acquired within oneself will be reflected in one’s life as a whole. As a believer of the infinity of the journey of learning and development, she preserves her desire and ambition to learn, research, and share.
